I remember moving in 2009 to Hinsdale County, driving over Slumgullion pass and seeing the beautiful view for the first time. I met my wife, Rebecca, who had been living here since 2004 while working at Camp Redcloud. She and I got married, shortly after meeting, and we now have five wonderful children. I started working for the Hinsdale County Sheriff’s Office in 2012, and I consider myself blessed to have been able to return and be part of our community. Our family loves this county and town. We desire to see us all thrive in this small corner of Colorado that we call home.
I have seen how departments can serve their communities well while serving the people with Justice, Compassion and Humility. After serving as a Colorado Peace Officer for three counties in this state, particularly serving two of those counties as the appointed Undersheriff for an estimated five years, qualifies me to serve as Hinsdale County’s next elected sheriff.
